From what I have read the teeth may get affected because our teeth are made up of calcium and phosphorus. Just like our bones and skeletal system
are more prone to osteoporosis this comes from the thyroid meds we take. The medication has an effect in our saliva in our mouths. Thyroid patients also have a higher than normal PH level.

HI Elisa,
I am not going through this myself, but was told by our dentist that graves affects the tooth enamel. Wish I could remember how and why.
Will post to you if I find the answer. I know how discouraging bad teeth can be as I have this problem due to my own disease and the fact I took meds when my teeth were forming that caused them to pit and break off easily.
