Thanks for the input. I made anothe date w/eye dr.
That cloudy eye thing. Kertitis. Is that it,like a giant blister on your eye??
One of the other questions is make up for work. I am so fair
that My lashes are invisible but the liner doen’t stick.
I am interested in the radiation for eyes but just read about it in the
foundation newsletter.Any ideas being tried for distracting others from
bright red eyes about which others comment? I am thinking
of trying some giant flashy earrings or other jewelry. Any ideas on that score.?
email me privately if this is an unacceptable subjest on the bbs

I don’t know about having a doctor on the bulletin board – it may have its ups and downs. I think a lot of practical industry knowledge can be obtained through links off this site, some which may let you post questions. There is one page that I browsed quickly in the past called “Ask the doctor” and answers select questions about Grave’s eye disease. I don’t know how many questions he gets so that may not be the most useful route. Unfortunately, I don’t have a bookmark for that page.I think the most lucrative benefit in having this bulletin board, as Bobbi stated, is having in fact subjective experiences from those who are undergoing symptoms of the disease rather than the objective sometimes impersonal view of a doctor who has never experienced Grave’s anxiety or the ordeal of having your eye tweak on you.
Their years and years of intense medical study cannot substitute. For example, I asked my endo if there was any chance that my eye would worsen after RAI. This was before I found the BB and he told me that he was confident that as my proptosis was not “severe” that it would not affect it at all. Fair enough answer, but after hearing ordeals of many inflected w/eye conditions, this off-chance that the doc seemed to imply to be negligible does not seem that rare after all. Doctors no matter how good they are cannot provide you complete info. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this wonderful resource.
Best Regards,
