Hi this is a perfect example where being able to mention meds by the recognizable names is important.
So you got icky rash reaction from one of the two ATD meds.
They are chemically different,some folks do well on one but not the other. Probably your doc has thought of this,but just in case not, Ron’s point is important. So if you have used PTU and had probs… you could try methimazole…which has various brand names. Or vice versa..if you have been on one of the “azoles” you could try PTU.
Perhpas you already have. In any case..take care and hope your itches are better, not to mention all that you set out to have treated to begin with!
