    Hi Serio,
    I don’t post on here much but this might help. I was diagnosed w/Graves about 2 months ago. My OB noticed the goiter, it was enlarged 3 times the normal size, you could definately see it. My heart rate was over 130 & shaking all the time. I had RAI (12 millicuries) 6 weeks ago and was put on beta-blockers. I went in for my check-up yesterday and the goiter is gone and my heart rate is 90. I am still on beta-blockers and will be until my labs look good. I am the type of person who wanted everything over and done with (3 kids mid. & high school) I didn’t have time to feel bad! (Although RAI scared me. I did a lot of research…reading posts) I know this was the right decision for me. Good luck!

    Yes – small goiter – gone after Radiation.

    Thanks for replying to my Goiter message. I sometimes think either I am the only one who can see my messages posted on the bb or that I am the ONLY one with my particular problem/symptom. It’s nice to know I am not alone.

    I haven’t read ANY other messages that have talked about goiters.

    Goiter or no Goiter?????
