Haven’t looked at the board for several days as have been totally caught up in the Olympics. We have excellent pretty well full time coverage here and we allow ourselves to become couch potatoes during this time. Anyway, Myriam Bedard, won a gold in Lillehammer and silver in Alberville for Canada. She entered the Biathlon this year and was expected to do well. She did very poorly. When I was watching a recap the announcer very casually said maybe she didn’t do as well because she suffers from hypothyroidism. Wow – I am surprised that she is even able to train and compete at the Olympics level. Good for her.
