Hey there…….I have had TED for about 2.5yrs and am getting ready to have the eyelid surgery and removal of excess fatty tissue that is prominent w/the eye disease caused by graves, next Thurs May 6!! I am having this because my left eyelid had retracted back and won’t close all the way and my right eyelid operates pretty normal but doesn’t close all the way either and being like this I have had to tape them shut for about a year now to protect the corneas. Now that I have been pretty stable and the eye disease has settled down, I get to have the surgery and hopefully it will help w/all dry eye symptoms.
