    Yes, I have the GED and I had the operation on
    my thyroid and now I am hypo with other things
    going on.

    I too have tried the codeine combinations but
    they make me tired and sometimes depressed. When
    I am desparate I will take a Mersyndol which
    is panadol codeine and a muscle relaxant. But
    as reading is one of my hobbies…I find it very
    frustrating paying the penalty of sore eye muscles.
    I also have Fibromyalgia …so perhaps that has
    something to do with it. What a shame there is
    no magic pill:)

    Hazel, thank you that was informative, my doc calls it thyroid opthmyopathy(spelling?). So the TED was throwing me off. I’m still a little confused when people say hypo, is that pre synthroid? Becuase it was 2 yrs after the GD diagnosis and roughly 18 months post RAI that the TED was diagnoses, am I just special :) or is that how it works? Thank you again. trish
