I was diagnosed about l month ago myself. I am on Tapazole right now; about the maximum dose that one could be on. It’s been 3 weeks and I don’t feel that different yet. I’m anxiously waiting! But, when my thyroid levels come down I am opting for RAI in Jan. I am 39 and have had my children so that helps; but I don’t think I could stay on this drug long term as I swear it causes me to be in fog. However; I know someone who was diagnosed with this disease about l year ago; she did the RAI and is now pregnant and doing quite well. So there is great hope. Good luck to you!
