The study suggested that early interrupted pregnancy triggered thyroiditis. This would be, I think, abortion — either spontaneous or induced. I don’t think that induced labor at eight months would be included in this category.

Interesting about interupted pregnancies, does that include induced labor? Tami’s last pregnancy was halted at 8 1/2 months because she had toxemia, they induced labor and then she nursed 9 mo. and them started having symptoms of hyperthyroidism which the dr put off as being “hormonal”, get over it! I guess he was right, just blamed the wrong hormones.
