Guess I should add my experience to the list. I had to quit working a few months after being diagnosed with the eye disease. Blindness was the reason I used (I really was blind) but looking back on it, I just could not function anymore in the work environment. I couldn’t handle any stress and was always in a foul mood. My employer would have found something for me to do even tho I was blind.
I also seemed very “jumpy” in regard to loud noises, think that is getting better now.
The engine in my truck blew up Friday so it’s all in pieces in my shop, have my work cut out for me this week!
