Right on, Carolyn! At least he recognized that you could be a doctor. I just get the “are you a nurse?” Your rejoinder was perfect!

    Go Carolyn!!!!!

I loved your story! I liked how you remained calm and the
said what you felt was needed to be said. Guess he learned
something from you today. Send him a bill! LOL

    WAY TO GO CAROLYN!!!!!

I wish I could think so quickly on my feet. You did that “doctor” and his future patients a favor today!

My endo is very impressed that I read so much and know so much. I feel lucky! I saw him last week and he had a nurse practitioner student see me first. She came in and said “the doctor told me how much you know about this disease and how involved you are in your care”. That made me feel good. Then my doctor chuckled and shook his head (in a positive way)when I used terms like “ATDs” and “RAI”. I told him I learn alot from this BB – real people who have Graves – and he very sincerely said “that’s really great”

    Have a great day! Kim
