I had 24 hour monitoring, but wore a monitor taped around me with a transistor thing like a walkman that I could put aside on my night table at night,or on the chair during the day. it was for irrgular heart beat that wouldn’t stop. Then it went away after a day.No one ever knew what it was.just an episode,I guess.Good luck with your procedure…..Gwen

Hey, Steve…I too had a heart monitor strapped on for 24 hrs a few yrs ago.I don’t know what the procedure is that you are talking about – maybe get some more info, but I guess you’ll just have to bite the bullet and get it done. You can’t stay with undiagnosed chest pain!!! I, too am fed up with no answers so when I go to my new endo tomorrow( Remember Dr. Hart retired?) I am going armed with questions. I am told he is very good at explaining to pts about the disease. If I like him I will let you know and maybe you can change. He was recommended by Dr. Jordan so I hope he is at least as good as Jordan is. Anyway, Steve you are not a chicken you’re a WARRIOR!!!! Go forth and do what needs doing, I know you can do it! Sometimes the thought of things are worse than the actual procedure. Take care. Brenda ( BonnieBee)
