I can only imagine how tough the situation with your mom is for you. I hope the change in living situations is positive for her. A friend of mine recently had to move her mom (who has Alzheimer’s) into a care facility and she agonized about it, hated having to do it, but it turns out that her mom is MUCH better in the new situation than she had been at her home. It doesn’t make it easy, but she has come to accept that the decision was the right one for her mother. It takes a lot of courage and love to make these hard decisions. Anyhow, I’ll keep you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers.
