Wow. I didn’t know Millie the dog had a thyroid
problem too! Unreal! I have a friend in vet school
who when hearing me tell about my Graves’ symptoms,
treatment, etc. said she was learning about alot of
that in school. Apparently, thyroid problems are
fairly common in some animals like dogs and pigs.
Also…is there some legitimacy to testing the water
for causing thyroid problems? There are 2 other
people in my department at work that have recently
had thyroid problems (both of the others are hypo
problems). Someone else kiddingly said “Are we
going to have to test the water or something?”
