    I have read several of John Hopkins universities medical postings (I have them sent to me) and they agree with the 3 day wait for the RAI. I was also told this by my original endocrinologist and the two VA endocrinologist that I currently see. I can’t say that I know this, this is what I have seen and been told from several doctors.

    You say you only have to wait 3 days off ATDs to have RAI. My physician made me wait 6 weeks because he said that I had to have the uptake exam and it would take 6 weeks for them to get out of my system completely and to have a correct uptake exam. If this is true, then only waiting 3 days would give a completely skewed result and not possibly correct.

    Could Jake or Jan or someone ask Nancy to ask someone on the board what the truth is about this? Not disputing you Ron, but there is a great disparity from what you say and what my physician said and I would like to know what is correct.
