Hi. I was on tapazole since January, just went off. Seems I’m in remission but only time will tell. It’s hard to say how long it takes. I know a lot of people get off it as soon as their levels normalize. I waited. Still don’t know if I should have waited some more. If my levels do the swing thing, I’ll probably go back on for a long haul (my doc says 1 year). My understanding is that you have to stay on the stuff for awhile, let your body stay in the “good” zone for awhile and then see. That probably doesn’t answer your question, does it?
