Darlings, patience is the name of the game with this disease we call “graves”. Jake has been through the mill and back with it all, especially the eyes(remember, 12 eye surgeries, including decompressions of both eyes). Honestly, some day, you will feel 100% better than you do right now, although can’t say it will be 100% like you were pre-graves. But think about it, wouldn’t 100% better than now feel pretty darn good right about now? Hmmmmm????
I wish you both better health and the strength and courage to endure this long road you have been left to hoe.
And remember: YOU ARE NEVER ALONE!!!! WE ARE ALL ONLY A POST,CHAT,E-MAIL, or PHONE CALL AWAY!!!! And we do care!!!!!!!!! and understand!!!!!

Don’t know what we would do without you & Jake on this BB – you encourage so many people, especially people like me who are new to this Graves disease. I thank God every night I found you both and found about about NGDF and it’s support group.
You & Jake helped me understand what was going on originally when I couldn’t see – I hope maybe I can help others as you did me.
Thanks – Barb, you hang in there, too – may you be able to see as I did after a few weeks.
