Wow, I’d like more info too on Synthroid and alcohol. Never saw that
warning in any drug interaction book. I’m no big drinker but once
in a while a like a glass of wine. Guess I’ll toast the new year
    with Calistoga water.

I see my Doctor on Thurs. Jan. 9, what about synthroid and alcohol?
We are discussing my carpel tunnel (he asked me to wait a few months before
we decide if this is the graves or really carpel tunnel). I have much trouble
writing, hold things, numbness in thumb and next three fingers. Also, discussing
my weight gain of 45 pounds in less than 1 year. Please answer before Thursday, Thank You All.

I don’t have any information about synthroid and alcohol but have had carpal tunnel for past 5 years. I have had surgery on both wrists. I had my left hand done twice. My right is very bad again and am real concerned that maybe it never was carpal tunnel but somehow related to GD. However, the numbness started in my finger tips and slowly spread down my fingers until my fingers were numb to my knuckle, no feeling at all, which is consistant with CTS. I don’t know whether to have surgery done or not. My doctor is concerned that the numbness could become permanent if I wait. Any suggestions?
