When I was 14 yrs. old, I was diagnosed with “Hyperthyroid”. Years of tests later, and a partial thyroidectomy, I was diagnosed with Recurrent Grave’s Disease. I’ve gone from bifocals to 20/20 to “seek counseling” when my vision started to go…. I find myself with Fibromyalgia, eyes that are, once again, only correctable to 20/60. The Manic/Depressive diagnosis gave way to Major Depression. I find the relationship to Recurrent Graves’ very lonely. Anyone ever experience this particular diagnosis?

Will try to find you through the NGDF Support Group page….I’m really pretty new to this game. But, I know I’ll get to you! This is my LIFE! Hope to pass on the “wisdom of the ages” re: the ?curse of auto-immune diseases. Since reoccurance is now the norm, I find that my body seems to be pulling other auto-immune diseases….yep, folks….it’s for life for me!
