    Hi Hazel. I saw your question on the radiation mask so thought I’d share my experience. The first visit they measured my head and wound gauzy-like stuff around it. They then make a mold sort of like a plaster cast used for broken bones. This is attached to the board you lie on while having the radiation and each time you go you put your head in it. The idea is to keep your head in the same place and still as they have measured the entry and exit points for the radiation. On my first visit I remember they also drew lines on my face with an orange color. I looked real cute leaving between my eyes and the orange markings. I asked if I could keep the mask when I was finished, but they said it was too radioactive. The second time I had the radiation treatments, we started all over again with another mask. Mask is kind of a misnomer as it doesn’t cover your face.
