Same for me. Last/first/only time I saw the endo was back in May when symptoms first appeared. I’ve gotten bloodwork done regularly, had meds prescribed, dosage changed, discontinued, and sent for RAI without ever seeing the doc again. We talk on the phone after every labwork (almost), but no personal visits. Mine is an HMO – is yours? May have something to do with it, if the doc is paid whether he sees you or not. Hmmm…..

Just wondering how often your doctor wants to see you. My doctor hasn’t seen me for 3 months since a couple of weeks after I started on meds (PTU and propranalol). She sends me to a lab for blood work and she or a nurse calls me with the results, but no actual visits. Just wondered if that’s the same for everyone else. Thanks.

I’ve been on med’s since May or June of 97 and my endo see’s me every 4 week’s.
He checks my heart rate, weight, eyes and shakiness. Then want’s to know
how I’m feeling.. and then we go over my lab results.
