      HI All
Its me again. What a great group of people you all are.
I’m taking my medicine just like a good girl. Beta blockers and ATDS.
I had been previously losing weight, was 100 pounds at 5’2″. Now I am putting on weight again, only about 6 pounds but wondering if it will even off. I have had clothes in five different sizes already but gave them away. Its too darn bad we cant share clothes here, gosh knows we need a decent range of sizes to get through this.
For those of you who have been keeping up I had my eye appt moved up to July 17. The squeaky wheel gets oiled! No therapist referral in sight yet. Will keep fighting.

I don’t think it has anything to do with them. For the 3 months before I started on ATDs and beta blockers, I didn’t lose any weight – but I know it’s because I ate like a horse. After the ATDs started working (a few weeks later), I wasn’t cutting back on food and so I started to gain weight. The ATDs slow the thyroid down, and hence, your metabolism. I am back to fighting my lifelong battle with weight, but for those few months it was great to eat, eat, eat and not gain!
