Hi Lisa, What does your doc say? When I asked mine what he does for rashes
he said that benedryl helps some, soem rashes are just woth “toughing out”
and if not, then switch to the other antithyroid drug. I take the other and have had no
rashes or any other problems. Hope you feel better soon. Skin is important stuff.
Drinking lots of water? Bye for now. Jeannette

I was diagnosed with a mild case of Grave’s Disease in December and my doctor decided I should try Propylthiouracil. Unfortunately, my skin breaks out immediately from it. It’s like I’m in puberty all over again. Has anyone else had this problem? What are the suggested solutions? It’s driving me crazy!!! It’s not limited to my face either; my neck is pretty bad and I even have a few breakouts on my arms and legs. My skin also feels incredibly oily. What’s in that stuff that is causing all of this?

        Thank you very much.

        Lisa
