I had RAI about 1 1/2 ago. All things considered, I cant complain. I feel fine, only gained about 20 pounds (went up 2 sizes – which most people say I needed anyway). However, I know if I’m not careful about what I eat I’ll continue to gain – but it wont be because of Graves. I get my synthroid medication checked on occasion (not as much as probably I should – but I try). Anyway I feel healthy.
I’ve read a lot of postings about the lenght of time to wait before getting pregnant, but I’ve not read much about people who actually have gotten pregnant. I’ve been trying for about 6 months with no luck. I’m starting to get concerned. I would love to hear about any positive experences with pregnancy after RAI.
