Joan,
Will pray to Grandfather for your mother’s health and for her to have the strength to cross the lake of the wounded when the time comes and emerge whole and happy on the other side.
Achgook (Jake)
Joan, I will keep your mom in my prayers.
She must be a very strong woman. She truly does
sound amazing to be able to endure so much
adversity. I hope things get better for her
very soon. God bless.Shannon.
My poor mother has endured 1 blood clot surgery, a 6-way bypass,
a broken back, crippled legs, several falls, not to mention GD, diabetes,
blindness from cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and macular degenration
and a hearing loss.
On Friday, she had her right leg amputated below the knee. We are all
exhausted. Any lesser person would have been brought down by any one
of these things. She continues to endure in dignity.
She’s just amazing!
Any prayers and support you can send us would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all.
I’m sure glad this bb is back.Joan,
My thoughts and prayers are for you and your mom.
I know you live fairly close to me really if you need anything
or need to chat, please let me know. You are a phone call away.Dee
Joan, so sorry to hear what your mom and family are having to cope with. Will keep you and your mom in my prayers. Watching a person you love suffer is difficult. My heart goes out to you.
Joan
I’m new to this group but was moved by your post about your Mom. It
sounds to me like you’ve inherited her strength. Believe me, though
you may be exhausted, you will never regret being there for her and
I’m sure she appreciates it more than she can express. Best wishes
to you both.Nancy D.
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. What a courageous woman your mother is. Hearing a story like hers makes me ashamed that I complain. I often forget to count my blessings. Please pass the message on to her that she is an example to us all.
Blessings,
Valerie LMy heart and prayers are with you….Carolyn
Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. We greatly appreciate all the help we’ve been given over the last few weeks.
Dear Joan,
I’m so sorry to hear of what your mother’s been through. It must be so difficult for both of you. It is good to hear of her strength. I will pray for both of you that you continue to be strong and for her health. Patience -
