    I never heard anything like that, plus my MD encouraged me to break
    estrogen tabs in half when I was working on that dosage. Also don’t
    childrens aspirins get used in halves? It may not be the most exact
    measurement, but in 1997 I think drug manufacturing equipment is
    sophisticated enough to mix the ingredients more thoroughly than your
    doctor suggests. Lets face it the MD’s don’t want us controlling our
    own meds.

    on my last visit to the endo i asked her if i coulld go down a little more
    slowly by taking .125 and then 112 every other. i told her i have .050s
    and could quarter them…..she said that it was not bioequivalent to do that….who is to say that that pill is mixed perfectly or maybe i am getting
    filler one day and synthyroid another in the other half!!!!!

    anyone else heard this???
