Just wanted to vent my frustration story of the day. Last night, when taking my PTU, I noticed I would be out today if I did not get a new prescription filled. I went to Walmart and gave the clerk my prescription. Since I am self pay, I asked her how much it would be; I figured depending on what she said, I might go elsewhere. She told me she was too busy to find out and so was everyone else; they did not have time to waste to find prices for people like me; I would just have to find out when I came to pick it up. I went to see a movie and returned 3 hours later. I ask for my prescription and she tells me it would be $28! I asked her to check again, because I have never paid that much for PTU. Then she says, “Well, THERE ARE 180 pills, you know!” I was like, “Yes, I always get 180 pills; I have been on the same dosage nearly 2 years now.” So, then I asked for my presciption back, since I did not have $30 on me (I had only brought $20, seeing as I have never paid more than $17 for my PTU before). She then says, “Well, if you didn’t have enough money, why did you come to get it filled? All you did was waste my time and the time of other people working here!” I was so mad! She was to busy to tell me the price earlier and then yells at me later for not having enough money! One thing is for sure; I am going to avoid ever getting anything there if I possibly can!
