Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else has this problem: For the past 15 years or so I have had an extremly dry right eye with no tears in it ever(even when I cry). My right eye does tear almost normally but is a little dry at times. Both my eyes are very bulgy with the dry one being the bulgiest. I have been using eye drops. I find Tears 11 or Hypotears work best.
Anyway I’m the one Liz said reminded her of her because of my attitude torwards this disease. Liz said she has decided to take control of her disease and so am I. I saw a gynacologist last week becase of a different problem and he recommended an endocrinologist who has an office practically down my street. I don’t think I would have done something about my GD problem(no pun intended) if it wasn’t for this bulletin board. I am going to contact the Thyroid Foundation of Canada and find out everything I can. So thanks everyone!!!
