Thanks so much to all of you who sent me birthday cards and e-mails. A couple of little birdies, named Jan and Liz, contacted a LOT of people (literally all over the world). Let’s see…a letter from “The Queen of England”, “Margaret T.” the Lord Mayor of ??, cards in Norwegian (I forgot between the time I opened it and read it — a matter of ten seconds– and then tried to figure it out. I thought it was a joke! Anyway, this truly has been one of the most pleasant birthdays I have EVER had. I appreciate it all. This is kind of off-topic, but once in a while even I post something personal.
