Hello to all! I had my endo appt yesterday. My Free t4 was 5.0 and my TSH was 0.03 which he said is not a mild case but a significant one. Even so, he agreed that my decision to try meds first was resonable. If that doesn’t work then we have to option of the RAI. I took my first dose of med today (I won’t spell it but it starts with a T). He said that if I get sick, I should always geta white cell count drawn, otherwise, stay on meds. I am staying on my beta blocker and will see him again in 3 mos. I am really hoping that all goes well.
My heart rate has been up and I have such muscle weakness, but I feel blessed that I am able to get out of bed each day and care for my son, a happy healthy three year old!
