Hi Ken – discussing this surgery with the doctor should put your mind at rest. At least something is being done. I worried a lot but looking back on the surgery it was uncomfortable for a few days but really not the end of the world. My eyes, as far as light sensitivity, are so much better now that it was definitely worth it.

Ken, as I mentioned, I hope you are attending the doctor’s appointment with your wife. It makes such a difference for her fears when discussing the surgery together that you have all the correct information as well. I know I was so nervous when we were discussing surgery with the doctor I missed some of the details and my husband was able to reassure me.

I’m sure everything will go fine. Let us know what happens. There is lots of support here from those of us who have walked the walk.

You are both in my prayers today – SAS

to find out when the decompression surgery
will take place. This is a scary time for us. We
know you all understand. Thanks for your support!
