      Hi Kay,

That is a good question. I know that when I got a new
doctor this year he had a big list of blood tests done
for me. Since everything came back in the normal range
I figured that I must not have the menopause going on.

This seems like a great question to forward on to Nancy
to have her ask the doctors at the NGDF conference. She
did say to e-mail her with any questions. Go for it!

I hope you feel better soon too.

I’ve noticed all the postings about pms symptoms related to going hypo.
Does anyone have any clues as to how to tell the difference in Grave’s symptoms
and menopause? I’ve been on ATM for a year and supposedly my thyroid is
in the normal range now, but I’ve been waking up with night sweats for a
month or so now. My mother went through menopause at my age, and so I’m
thinking that this may be the case, but, then again, it could be my thyroid
on the march . . . It seems to me that our hormones and endocrine system
are so interconnected that it may be difficult to unravel, but I thought
I’d ask if anyone had any information or suggestions or where to look
        for information. Thanks!
