I’m new here. Hello. Here’s my situation:

I’ve had five blood tests (two were repeats). The final result is
that my TSH is very low, but my T3 and T4 are normal. The doctor (an
internist who is consulting with an endo) has prescribed PTU. My
understanding is that PTU will lower my thyroid output (my easy
description), which, to me, doesn’t seem necessary.

I’m supposed to take the PTU for two weeks, then go in for another test.
(The doctor wasn’t available Friday when I received the test results/
prescription info.)

My symptoms of Graves are most evident in my eyes. THis was what sent
me to the doctor. The other symptoms are light except it’s rare if I
don’t wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat.

I was just wondering if anyone else has a similar case and, if so,
what treatment you received.
