I don’t think anyone can go through graves disease and not have some level of psychological distress from time to time. I try to to channel it towards “knowledge is power” and learn all I can about up to the minute treatment remedies, etc. That way, psychologically I feel I am doing all in my power to make myself feel better. With your bloodwork still showing “unstable”, that is a sheer indication why you still feel so bad. You don’t say whether you are HYPER, or HYPO (Bear with me, I,m new to the BB). I think when the docs finally get you euthyroid, you will feel pretty much your old self again. Too bad it has to take so long to stabilize. As for it being a chronic condition – yes. But, it doesn’t have to be a bad thing if you stay on top of getting your blood checked regularly, even if you feel good. I speak from experience, it can creep up on you slowly, and next thing you know, you feel lousy again.
