I have had GD since 1952 and had another occurance 10 years later.
Now coping with typical middle age problems of incredible weight
gains on anything over 800 calories or with any carbohydrate intake.
Recently have serious hypertension and adult onset diabetes.
I cannot use synthroid because I find it totally ineffective.
Complete list of low thyroid symptoms, but blood work comes out fine.
I suspect it is because synthroid has only one of 5 thyroid hormones in it.
I am looking to find people that also find synthroid ineffective. If so,
