      Becky,

Just click on the NGDF logo and then on “Reading List.” This list is
      simply THE best.

When I first got on BB I noticed a list of books or titles of books on GD. My new doctor seems to think that once you’re on Synthroid there’s nothing else to do. I mentioned this BB and she sort of Pooh-Poohed it. I would like to do even more reading than I have so perhaps I can get on her wavelength, or find a doctor that believes that there could be problems after RAI. Can anyone tell me what to look under for this list of books? I would like to find something that is fairly concise.

          Hi Becky,
The best and most concise book I have read so far is the
Thyroid Sourcebook (updated version) by M. Sara Rosenthal.
It is well written andvery understandable. I could not put it
          down when I bought it.
As far as your Doctor pooh-poohing this BB………..She obviously has not
seen it or does not want to see it. I have never met?? a nicer more informative
group of people in my life and I don’t know what I would have done without them
throughout this illness!!!! They are the Greatest!
