Hi Jake, here’s my stab at it:

There once was a girl from the west
who began losing weight in her chest
she started getting quite jumpy
her neck got fat and lumpy
her doc said I’ll give it my best.

The girl said it’s my husband, he’s lazy
he’s slowly driving me crazy
Doc said no, it’s not knaves
the problem is Graves’
and with that the poor girls sight got hazy.

Hi all,

I know that we (my husband and myself) have already posted several but
I couldn’t resist one more:

Surgery, RAI or PTU.
Just what is a person to do?
Is this some crazy test?
Which treatment is best?
Does anyone have a real clue?

OK You warriors and frustrated poets,

We have a limerick contest going on and it is in it’s last ten days!! We have over 50 something entries so far and want more!!!

The rules are

1. keep it clean (none of that old man of Nantucket stuff)
2. A panel of five judges will make the decision and it will be final
3. Have fun with it.

Next time you sign on ask for the posts since 1 Sept and you will see a number of entries. You may e-mail them to me at jake@mail.tnn.net if you wish. The winner will receive a hand made indian choker made by my self!!

DO NOT BE DRINKING ANYTHING WHEN YOU READ THEM OR MILK WILL COME OUT YOUR NOSE!!!!

I have also received some info that Baush and Lomb will throw something into the prize pot as well.

OK Poets,

Only five days left on the limerick contest. All Limericks have been sent to the judges so far. None sent to my e-mail were lost in the computer crash.

So the judges are begining to look over what they have so far and are starting to make selections. Post your entry on the BB and I will make sure it gets to the judges.

my computer is still down. I have let the BB be watched over by excellent help. Dianne, Debby, Val, Denise, Rachel, Ron and others are keep an eye on things are there to help if you need it.
