Kristy, Its not the anti-thyroid meds that are a problem. Its the propanol that comes along with it. I drive for a living and can’t take that particular med. I don’t have a goiter, just a really big thyroid.
Other symptoms were sleeplessness, the shakes, lots of time in the restroom, very weak, no strength in my legs or arms. And now the rash has started on my feet. I take tapazole 10mgx 3 a day. I feel much better but the weakness in my limbs is really hard to deal with. I lose my breath just picking up my baby. I hope your visit with the endo turned out ok and he answered all the questions you had. I’d like to keep in touch with you and see if our doctors give us the same treatment since out cases seem so similiar.
