I was diagnosed with Graves Disease nearly 3 years ago. My endochrinologist has told me i’m a classic case…in other words i have endured all known symptoms and, as we all know, it is no fun at all. Now, at last i am beginning to feel my health improving. The blood tests are showing good results but the disease itself is still active which explains why i have the constant eye problems and swelling. Anyway, i really just wanted to say to those of you out there battling it out with this disease…hang in there…it takes a while but one day you will wake up and start feeling alive again. Its great to have a site like this to get a little support and know that you’re not on your own.

        Welcome Jenny!
I’m glad you are doing really good. Please feel free to post here anytime you want. Alot of us are newbies to this disease and need daily encouragement especially me. I am a 40 year year old mom of 6 kids ages 2 to 13.
My three older kids have ADHD and I started having GD symptoms the first of Feb. this year. I will be 4 weeks post RAI this Monday and I’m still going downhill. Please join us Wednesday nights at 9pm for our online chat session.
Go to this site’s main page and click on the mIRC site. We’d love to have you there. I need as much encourage as I can get. Again Welcome!!!!
