dont have them there but when i turn say to look back in our van when i am driving my whole back cracks up the spine…………………not a good sound……………what is it???? if i twist and stretch in the morn while still layin in bed it does the same thing……..???????????????? is this a sign of the beg of osteo?
Yes!! My knees crack every time I take a step up and it is driving me crazy!! At my last appt., 5 weeks ago, I was still a little bit hypo. Now, I probably am in the normal range but my endo says that symptoms often follow a month or two later after your blood levels are normal. So, guess I’ll just hope that my cracking knees quiet down soon!! Boy, this this Graves disease sure is a waiting game. I feel more hypo now than when I was actually hypo. a few weeks ago!
Yea — I have that. But for me, that started YEARS before I got GD (back when I was about 31), so for me, I don’t think it’s related to the GD.

P. S. I’m 38 1/2 now, and it’s never gotten worse, nor have I ever had any pain associated with it (just sorta embarrassing — I’m reminded of one of the ugly stepsisters in Roger & Hamerstein’s “Cinderella” starring Leslie Ann Warren). Oh well!!!
Has anyone experienced their joints in knees and feet making clicking noises. I know this sounds weird but the only sound that comes to mind is a cricket.
Colleen,
When very hyper my neck seemed to click alot, now it’s just my big toe. My weird hyper noise which bothered me most was somewhere in my sinus cavity. I had an awful problem with post nasal drip, and there was some sort of bizarre “decompression” nose or something going on in there. I could tell when I was on the roller coaster because the noise would come back.
