    Joan,
I had joint pain and I think tendonitis in the shoulder areas. Whatever
it was it was painful – and the endo tended to ignore me initially.
Recently the joint pain reoccurred and is now better, after being
diagnosed as borderline hypoparathyroid, upping the dose of thyroxine,
and starting Vit D and calcium replacement.

Did you see my post to you re paralysis, yesterday?

    Kathleen.

I’m so glad you asked that — I was beginning to think it was OLD AGE! Back, wrists, knees, ankles – any ideas that will help?

Has anyone had increased joint pain with GD–before or after RAI?
I have a few specific finger joints that ache and my right shoulder seems to be worse since RAI one week ago? Any info would help.

    Hi,

I get some serious pains in my knee joints when I am using the stairs or walking a lot. Also at nights I get some very excruciating pains in my shoulders and especially my right wrist. My doctor gave me vioxx, but I hesitant.- the side effects of vioxx are serious. Any suggestions?
