      According to my endocrinologist, the Japanese have a much greater remission rate from thyroid-suppressants. He also said that this is not true for Japanese-Americans. Those living in North America have the same rate as other Americans!.

        Are the remission rates higher in Japan simply because they are willing to
        give anti-thyroid hormones for a longer period of time?
