In my bad eye I have a really irritating twitch in my lid. Its like a series of twitches and if I can catch it it makes my lid move like in a spam. Somedays its really bad. Ive had it for about 4 weeks now and its not getting any better. The eye dr said its nerves but Im no more nervious now than Ive ever been. Actually Ive always thought I was fairly calm.
Also when I sleep I will wake up with both of my little fingers asleep. Im 50 and wondering if that is GD related or just poor circulation. Ive never had this before either. It wakes me up. Seems I can never get a good nights sleep.
    Any ideas?

I used to have this problem too, but since my levels have been in the normal range with medication I don’t have that problem anymore. However, I have a history of anxiety before Graves and I used to have eye twitches then too, so I think it could probably be a combination of nerves and Graves disease based on my own experience. I don’t think it is dangerous, just annoying.

I’ve had twitchy eyelids since I was nine years old it has sort of gotten worse as my eyes have gotten worse over the years( now at -7). I’ve just written it off as my eyes not accomidating my glasses well. It goes away if I have contacts but they give me other problems so I just live with the twitches. Ken
