Was suppose to get a blood test today to check my levels. I called
the lab to see how long it would take to get the results back.
The lady told me 3 weeks! they have to freeze the blood and send
it away to my former home to get tested because they don’t do thyroid
testing here. I nearly keeled over from the shock! what the heck
have I gotten my self into. I have gone from bad to worse. No thyroid
testing here!? that’s incrediable. I’m sick to my stomach. I’m so
upset I’m not even going to bother to get it done today. What’s another
week going to matter! like I said I’m in shock. Welcome Shannon to
the nineteenth century. Hope you all have a great day!

    Love, Shannon

Well, i am finally ready for christmas. We went out in 10 degree temp and stalked the wild christmas tree. I have got to stop doing that. It took me several hours to finally get warm again, but I got a nice tree. I call it a charlie brown tree. Not much to look at, but once I get done, it is going to be gorgeous. We’ll bring it in tomorrow so I can decorate. Shopping’s all done, just need to mail the packages (someday I will actualy get them out early (but then I don’t get the trill of wondering if the package will arrive on time). Luckily my hubby is patient and puts up with my christmas insanity. And the house looks nice, esp with peppermint candles in every votive. This christmas has been so much easier to deal with, esp since I’m still in remission. I must be, going up the mountain on icy, snowy roads in a land rover driven by my friend who’s nickname is Mad Dog, would have had me in hysterics 2 years ago. Today I barely even twinged, I only closed my eyes once :-)

So I wish to say “Happy Holidays everyone”
