I was originally diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was on synthroid for a year. Last Decemeber, I was retested and was re-diagnoses with hyperthyroid Grave’s disease. Doctor took me off synthroid and adopted a let’s wait an see attitude for 6 months. Started getting heart palpitations, insomnia, shakes. Finally was put on Tapazole and told to decide whether to have surgery of radioiodine. Don’t want either because I’m not sure if I believe doctors. Trying alternative therapy and taking Tapazole, but still feel crappy. Has anyone been in similar see-saw situation? What did you do? I need help…

Good Morning to you! I hope you still read the BB as I don’t remember seeing your name before,oh well hopefully you will see this posting Zeusie,I really have an understanding of where your coming from as I too don’t trust very well,because when I do I’m the one who gets stung real bad,so I for one Zeusie,understand. Now, how I can help I don’t know but I do know you have to get something going here for your health,because you will continue to feel shitty until you do trust something or someone.I know its hard I really do as I said I don’t trust anyone I just can’t probably never will either,but just had to get some help & hope for the best which I’m still doing.I don’t know if this makes any sense at all or even helps but I just want you to know I feel like you do too! Sweety, your not alone,but you have to decide what way to go,so you can feel better,I had the RAI,NO I don’t know if its better or worse no opinnion really,but I do feel better that I can say,so good luck to sweety,and I will pray for you today for relieve as you sound over-burdened,ok? take care of yourself now,as we here care.little warrior Barb :}
