    Try moist heat (I used one of those moist heat electric pads, warm baths, etc.) and gentle stretching exercises to alleviate the muscle cramping. It WILL go away.

    It is the pits to be on the hormonal roller coaster, but you will get yourself straightened out. Try to believe that this is THE worst that you will feel, and look for improvement, little by little. It takes a while before you will start to feel better on the replacement hormone. Not terribly long, but it isn’t like you take the medication and feel better instantly. Just try to hang in there a bit longer.
