yes,i understand what you mean about flying, i canceled
2 very important things for myself this year because i couldn’t put
myself on the plane,at Christmas i even couldn’t drive to Toronto
which is only 5 hours ,so i put myself on a train but that wasn’t
so bad, here is another fine example that involves graves where
nobody would understand except who has had this disease.Try
to explain something like this to your endo – ITS NOT YOUR TYROIDsteve-good luck-feel good!

I’ll be praying for you! The return of the hyper thing is creepy, you think you’re
safe… My sister is hypo and on synthroid and whenever her dosage is
increased she goes through something like that for a few days or a week,
then she returns to “normal.” Maybe you are just adjusting to the dosage
and everything will work out fine. I also did some reading & discovered
that PMS and perimenopause can causes some remarkably similar symptoms.
A friend of mine recently thought she must have my lovely disease due to
symptoms like yours (except the eye thing), as it turns out now she’s on some kind of female
hormone patch and feeling much improved. Well, I’ll be hoping & praying
it turns out well and you have a dream vacation in Hawaii!Glynis

All this talk about blood work is certainly timely: I’m waiting for my endo’s office to open so that I can request some new bloodwork ASAP. I’ve been doing fine until about a week ago. Then, I began waking up at all hours of the night. Muscles cramping became a problem. My eyes started feeling gritty again. Over the weekend, I realized that the muscle weakness had returned with a vengeance in my thighs. This morning I woke up with tremors. THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING NOW!!! Well, I guess it can. I’m supposed to fly off next week to Hawaii to visit a daughter I haven’t seen in almost a year. We had to cancel our planned Xmas trip there, because I was so hyper. Now it appears I may be hyper again. Please keep your fingers crossed for me, folks. I hope that this is simply a minor bump and that my synthroid levels just need to be adjusted. But there’s no way I can get on a plane for ten hours feeling like this. And I want to see my daughter!!!!
Bobbi — going off to try relaxation techniques, trying not to obsess on the tremors
