      Well, the surgeon disagreed with both the opthamologist and
      an expert from Johns Hopkins to say that Diane’s eyes
      were not in need of the decompression surgery (which
      he does regularly, one of the best in Canada). In fact he says her
      eyes are a little better from when he last saw her
      (Oct 96). So for the moment we are in shock, but its a
      good shock.

      To SAS, yes, I went in with her and made sure we understood
      what he was saying, and why he said it. It actually feels good
      to know that a surgeon wont cut unnecessarily. If this
      guy ever does then tell us she needs it, we will believe him.
