      Denise,

When my eye disease was severe I saw my eye specialist every 4 weeks.
I live in the northwest area. Had decompression surgery, expecting 2
more eye surgeries. Now I see him every 6-weeks. I hope once the surgeries
are completed and hopefully they go well, I will see him less often.

(Not that I mind he is drop dead gorgeous!).

I have minor eye problems, and have not had any specific treatment (other than tears and ibuprofen).

I first saw the doctor in April, came back one month later (no change), came back 3 months later (slight improvement), and I go back in 3 months. (Seems pretty good for an HMO). I live in California

I was just curious how many times a year people see their eye doctor?
Indicate if you have severe, mild or moderate eye disease or if you had any recent surgery.
Also what part of the country you are in northeast, southeast, southwest or midwest
regions or outside of the US.

I for instance saw my eye doc when my eyes were severe every 4-6 weeks
then it changed to 3 months and now I am at 6 months and this is in the Northeast.

Maybe we can draw some conclusions from this?

            Thanks
