Good morning warriors,
My 6 day flu bug is finally crawling away. So I am keeping my fingers crossed it has flown away!

Since 6/96, I have been on 200 micrograms of synthroid, (a hefty dose), I get all of my levels checked periodically and they come back normal. Is there anyone else who is on a large dose of synthroid? For 2-2 1/2 years my dosage had varied all over the place at one point they were going up and down. My next question is if possible could I have received 4 years ago too much radioactive iodine? Also, is there a chart or something that doctor’s use or is it a hit or miss with each patient as far as synthroid is adjusted? For instance if a person’s blood level comes back in a certain range this is the dose of synthroid or armour they should be taking?

I am on synthroid 0.15mg I have been all the way up to .4 which was a big dose.
I definitely have to take mine in the morning with water wait at least 30 minutes before I eat and not drink orange juice in the morning. When I started this I have been able to bring the dose down.
I still have to keep a closer check on mine because it still will vary from .125 to .175 but that’s a lot better.
